		<description><![CDATA[&#160;You may not have noticed, but during the 2011 Super Bowl in February, many of the cool, funny and expensive TV commercials didn&#8217;t show their main domain name. Instead, they used their Facebook URL (like facebook.com/budlight). Why you ask? Well, those big brands know how viral and powerful Facebook is. If they can capture &#8220;likes&#8221; on their pages as a result of their multimillion dollar commercial, they can then communicate with them and drive more direct sales action. Here&#8217;s the cool thing. Even if you don&#8217;t have a Super Bowl commercial, your business can still use the exact same strategies as the BIG BOYS, but for a fraction of the cost. Since most people automatically sign-up on Facebook with a personal profile, most assume that that&#8217;s all there is to Facebook. So they start recruiting everyone they know to become &#8220;friends&#8221; on their personal profile. And its not long after that the crummy, hypey wall posts start coming. Honestly, do you want to subject your real friends and family to that? Not to mention that those kinds of wall posts are really bad marketing in the first place. The solution is to have a Facebook Page for your business and keep it separate from your personal Facebook profile. Once you have a Facebook Page set-up, you&#8217;ll just let all the people on your personal profile know that you are separating your personal and business profiles on Facebook. You can do a posting on your wall as well as send out personal messages. The best Facebook Pages will offer something of value anyway, so you can use that as an incentive to get people to make the switch and &#8220;like&#8221; your personal page.
